Womack 7 Steps to Success!
"I am a candidate for the Birmingham School Board because I believe that our children and our public schools are our city's greatest and most important assets "
It's time for fresh and new leadership to the Birmingham City School and I strongly believe that I can bring fresh new ideas to the table as your next school board member for District 6.
Over the years we have watched our school board change and make false promises to our city and communities. Most of all we have seen our student go without the best in education because of the wasteful spending of our school board leaders. In the upcoming election we can change the status quo and move forward and provide our city with what is need and required and that's a "Strong Educational System for our Children."
I will never make hard promises are play politics with our children lives and education. I will always be a board member that listens to the concerns of our parents, administrators, teachers and communities for
which I represent. I will be hands on school board member making sure that our schools have what it needs to provide a quality education to our students on a daily basis.
I will increase Parental Involvement in District 6.
I will work to increase Accountability & Communication with the citizens.
I will decrease unnecessary spending that cost the system millions of dollars of debt.
I will work towards cleaning up our financial system.
I will work hard to end un-necessary Teacher Layoffs & School Consolidation.
I will work to increase funding for Teacher Resources in the classroom.
I will work to increase programs & funding for Vocational Trade Schools.
I will work to decrease the Birmingham Drop out Rate by offering alternative solutions to at risk students.
I will offer quarterly Town Hall meetings in District 6 to parent, students and community concerns.
I am Antwon Womack and I am willing to reconnect our schools with our communities and move forward
to be the best in Alabama and around the world. If you elect me to the Birmingham School Board I will be a fighter both day and night to end wasteful spending of your tax dollars on non-sense items and projects, and restore common sense spending for our system.
I will work to make sure our classrooms have the latest technology to better equip our students learning abilities in the classrooms.
